For the purposes of implementing cutting-edge upstream technologies, PJSC LUKOIL created an Innovation Development Portal, an e-marketplace where any supplier of high-performance technologies and equipment, from major companies and industry-specific institutes to small businesses and individuals, can offer its ideas for application in the company.
LUKOIL is first of all interested in technologies and equipment that would enable it to achieve positive results in its operations, for instance, significantly improve performance of its processes, increase hydrocarbon production or successfully develop the fields of hard-to-recover reserves. A mandatory precondition for the proposal to be reviewed is that it must be elaborated in detail, and the proposed solution must be ready for testing to confirm the advantages offered, and for application today or in the near future.
Signing up to the system. If you are ready to offer new technologies or equipment involving the prospects of establishing partnerships with PJSC LUKOIL, please sign up and fill out the Partner’s Form. To sign up with the system, click the link “Register at the Innovation Partnership Portal”.

Expert assessment of proposals. PJSC LUKOIL professionals will review your proposals and provide feedback. In the course of assessment of the proposed technologies you will be required to respond to the experts’ questions forwarded through the portal moderator. Following the review, it will be estimated whether it is expedient to introduce the proposed technology/equipment at LUKOIL Group’s enterprises.
Signing an agreement between PJSC LUKOIL and technology/equipment supplier. A confidentiality agreement will be signed with the suppliers of equipment/technologies that are of interest and offer prospects that it would be expedient to introduce them into the company’s operations. Further on you will be required to prepare a package of documents for your proposal to be reviewed as part of the programs for R&D and pilot operations.
Analysis of the outcomes of pilot operations and detail elaboration of the proposal. In cooperation with the technology/equipment supplier the Company’s experts will elaborate in detail the proposal included into the pilot operations program. Following the pilot operations, the Company’s specialists will analyze the outcomes in cooperation with the technology/equipment supplier.
The technology is recommended for introduction. Process solutions with prospects of high performance will be recommended for introduction. Further cooperation with the technology/equipment suppliers will be on a contractual basis.
Development of long-term partnerships. In order to determine priorities of the supplier and contractor selection process, a database of PJSC LUKOIL counterparties will be prepared to accumulate the data on successful experiences in cooperation of the LUKOIL Group entities with the partners.
