LUKOIL continues its work to reduce controlled greenhouse gas emissions at its production facilities. The Company began supplying electricity to its Stavrolen petrochemical plant (Budennovsk, Stavropol region, Russia) from LUKOIL's own solar power plant (SPP) located at its Volgograd refinery. About 11 million kWh are expected to be supplied annually.
At today's meeting of LUKOIL Board of Directors in Moscow, the members of the Board reviewed the Company's performance in the first half of 2021, budget execution and progress on investment program.
"LUKOIL" released its condensed interim consolidated financial
statements for the three and six month periods ended June 30, 2021 prepared in
accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
LUKOIL announces a new oil finding in the Sayulita prospecting area of Block 10 offshore Mexico following the drilling of an exploratory well. The initial geological resources of the new accumulation may contain up to 200 Mboe in place. The Sayulita-1 EXP well is the second consecutive successful well drilled by the Company in partnership with the operator Eni as part of its Block 10 commitments.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Yury Borisov, Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin and President of PJSC LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov took part in the ceremony of commissioning of a polymer-bitumen binders production unit at LUKOIL's Nizhny Novgorod refinery. The commissioning took place today in the city of Kstovo (Nizhny Novgorod region).

PJSC LUKOIL released its Sustainability Report for 2020 prepared in line with the international and industry standards, such as GRI, SASB, UNCTAD and IPIECA. For each area of ESG activities the report includes information about the Company's contribution into the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
LUKOIL is to acquire the 50% operator interest in the Area 4 project in
Mexico, consisted of two oil fields, Ichalkil and Pokoch, which are located in the Gulf of Mexico. The
construction of production facilities is currently being finalized, and
production of first oil is scheduled for the third quarter of 2021. The
partner in the Project is PetroBal.
LUKOIL's Annual General Shareholders Meeting in the form of absentee voting took place in Moscow. The Meeting approved the 2020 Annual Report of the Company and the 2020 financial statements, as well as decision on distribution of profit for 2020 was made. The shareholders also approved the final dividend distribution and elected the Board of Directors of PJSC "LUKOIL".
