LUKOIL DEVELOPS COOPERATION WITH THE REPUBLIC OF KOMI

According to the Protocol, the parties will continue long-term cooperation for the sake of more efficient operations in the fuel-and-energy complex and a stronger production potential, which will entail a broader taxable base, higher employment and lasting social stability in the region. 

The company also commits itself to help finance programs of social infrastructure development and to implement charity projects and actions. In particular, the construction of residential buildings in the village of Yarega and the town of Usinsk will continue, as well as the renovation of the road network in the township of Yarega. In its turn, the Government of the Republic of Komi will facilitate the company’s investment operations and other business activities in the region. 

15/10/2020 - USINSK HOSPITAL IN THE REPUBLIC OF KOMI RECEIVES ARTIFICIAL VENTILATION UNITS UNDER REGIONAL AID PROGRAMME TO FIGHT COVID-19

The Usinsk Central District Hospital (the Republic of Komi) received five up-to-date artificial ventilation units. They constitute the final shipment of medical equipment purchased using personal funds of LUKOIL President Vagit Alekperov, who donated 50 million roubles to outfit the hospital.

Today in Usinsk, LUKOIL President Vagit Alekperov and the acting Head of the Republic of Komi Vladimir Uyba discussed the prospects for cooperation in the area of social and economic development of the region. Vladimir Uyba thanked Vagit Alekperov for LUKOIL's active involvement in the fight against COVID-19 in the Komi Republic.
