LUKOIL AND KALMYKIA DEFINE AREAS OF COOPERATION FOR 2020

LUKOIL and the Republic of Kalmykia signed Protocol to the Cooperation Agreement for 2020.

According to the document, defining areas of social and cultural engagement of the parties in various projects and initiatives, LUKOIL will provide financial support for the reconstruction and re-equipment of the Kalmykia State Philharmonic Hall, redevelopment of the Patriot Park in the city of Elista and will contribute to the development of the Republic’s human resources. The company will also provide financial resources for the renovation of a number of social facilities in several regional centers of Kalmykia.

Results of LUKOIL’s trademark contest of social and cultural projects, held in Kalmykia and in other regions of the Russian Federation, supported by the company, will be announced in September of 2020.

LUKOIL will support implementation of socially important projects in the Perm region under the Cooperation Protocol for 2021 signed by the company and the region. The greatest of those projects envisions construction of a new stage for the Perm Youth Theatre.​
