LUKOIL AND NIOC SIGN MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

A LUKOIL wholly owned subsidiary, LUKOIL-Engineering, and the National Iranian Oil Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding. ​

The parties to the memorandum express their interest to enhance mutually beneficial cooperation, which implies basin modeling and analysis of the petroleum systems of northwest areas of the Persian Gulf, the Abadan plateau and the South Caspian basin.

For the purposes of the memorandum, LUKOIL-Engi​neering and NIOC will set up exchange of data necessary to study the areas, and establish a joint working group.   

19/10/2018 - LUKOIL AND UZBEKNEFTEGAZ SIGN MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and Acting Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz Bahrom Ashrafhanov signed a memorandum of understanding​. 

​According to the memorandum, the parties intend to develop cooperation and share experience in the implementation in geological exploration in the Republic of Uzbekistan's territory. ​

02/05/2017 - LUKOIL DEVISES NEW METOD OF DEVELOPING FIELD SIMULATION MODELS

LUKOIL has applied a new approach to the development of geological-hydrodynamic models used to study the Lower Permian accumulation of Varandey field in the Timan-Pechora Oil and Gas Province on the basis of hydro-dynamic  and geophysical testing of wells.

Today, the President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov met with the Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh in Teheran. The parties discussed the outlooks on the Company’s participation in Iranian projects.
