LUKOIL SIGNS COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH PERSPEKTIVA CIVIL ENGAGEMENT SUPPORT FUND

LUKOIL and ″Perspektiva″ Civil Engagement Support Fund have concluded a cooperation agreement during the Active Citizen Forum today in Moscow. The document was signed by Gleb Ovsyannikov, head of LUKOIL's PR, and Alexander Svinin, general director of the Fund.

The parties have agreed to take part in developing and implementing joint social programs and exchange experience in the area of sustainable development. Joining efforts of LUKOIL and ″Perspektiva″ Fund will make it possible to expand the geography of social projects in Russian regions and increase the number of their potential participants. Winning social and cultural projects of the specialized contest which LUKOIL has been holding in regions of its operations for many years will become pilot projects for this cooperation.

Joint activities of LUKOIL and ″Perspektiva″ Fund will aim at supporting the development of civil society institutes in small towns and rural communities and improving the social climate in the country.

″Perspektiva″ Fund was established in February 2015 by the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation and according to order of the Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin No. 68-rp dated 05.04.2014 acts as a distributor of grants to support civil initiatives in small towns and rural areas.

LUKOIL has been holding contests of social and cultural projects since 2002 to address specific problems existing in respective areas and establish conditions for increasing the number of active citizens and organizations capable of fulfilling their social ideas.
