The Company also made a donation to the Cross Country Ski Federation of Russia for the development of children and youth sports.

"The Cross Country Ski Federation of Russia has been cooperating with LUKOIL for many years. We are proud to be one of the first sports organization that received the Company's support. Such long-standing projects give us an opportunity to look into the future with confidence. Every our medal has a drop of LUKOIL in it," said Yelena Valbe, President of the Cross Country Ski Federation of Russia.

"The Company is the only sponsor of cross country ski that has been supporting the national team every year for many years. They help not only the main team, but also the junior teams that are yet at the outset of their sports career," noted Alexander Bolshunov, the triumphant of the Beijing Olympic Games.

"We are happy to have helped the sportsmen in their notable victories. LUKOIL's Always moving forward motto suits the skiing as well. We kept track of the wins of our male and female relay teams and of the personal achievements of Alexander Bolshunov and other skiers with great admiration. We have common values: to always be the first in any competitive environment," added Vagit Alekperov, President of LUKOIL.

Support of the sports is one of the main vectors of LUKOIL's social policy. Since 1998, the Company is the title sponsor of Russian national cross country skiing team. The 2021-2022 season became the most successful for the team in its entire history.
