The Company is mindful of the corporate citizenship and seeks to promote it. Jointly with the Regional Social Programs Foundation "Our Future" it has launched a project "More than a Purchase". The project enables Russian producers that employ disabled individuals, retirees, or other vulnerable individuals, to market their products through the Company's gas stations.
LUKOIL's most renowned program is its Social Projects Contest, held in Russia since 2003. Starting 2019, the contest is also held outside of Russia (Romania). The Company sponsors the best social projects in 4 categories.
