LUKOIL PRESIDENT AND HEAD OF PERM TERRITORY MEET WITH LUKOIL GROUP EMPLOYEES

President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and Head of the Perm Territory Maxim Reshetnikov met with employees of LUKOIL Group’s local enterprises, in Perm today. The meeting was attended by more than 600 people. Vagit Alekperov and Maxim Reshetnikov briefed the audience on the current situation in the region and in the petroleum industry. They also dwelt on the company’s plans and on progress in the implementation of joint projects, after which a question and answer session followed.
"LUKOIL is a strategic partner of the Perm territory and its biggest employer giving jobs to 40,000 people. Owing to the cooperation with the company, hundreds of social facilities have already been built and new ones are being built, dozens of villages have been gasified, and support is given to the cultural and sports initiatives of the local population. Also, we are grateful to LUKOIL for a deep integration of local manufacturers in its projects. A reliable customer, LUKOIL sets highest standards for the quality of products it orders", Maxim Reshetnikov commented.
"Traditionally, LUKOIL’s production and social projects here are based on a cooperation agreement, now signed for the next 5 years. And we intend to maintain this format of interaction, which, I hope, will be reciprocated. A robust program of social investment is being implemented in the region. It is now up to the region to identify areas where our support would be most helpful and efficient", Mr. Alekperov noted.
