LUKOIL’S PRESIDENT DISCUSSED PROGRESS IN KANDYM GAS PROCESSING COMPLEX CONSTRUCTION WITH UZBEKISTAN’S LEADERS

Today, the President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and the Acting President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the construction site of the Kandym Gas Processing Plant (GPP).

The Parties discussed the construction status of the GPP, a key manufacturing facility of the development project for the Kandym group of gas condensate fields located in the Bukhara region in the south-west of Uzbekistan.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev commended the progress achieved in just five months since project start on April 19, 2016, when he participated in the laying of the first stone of the future plant. Today, sophisticated steel structures are in place and several batches of large-size process equipment are already delivered to the construction site.

19/04/2018 - LUKOIL COMMISSIONS GAS PROCESSING COMPLEX IN UZBEKISTAN AHEAD OF SCHEDULE

​​Today LUKOIL has commissioned a Gas Processing Complex at the Kandym fields cluster in Uzbekistan. ​

The construction of the Kandym Gas Processing Complex was completed exactly two years since its start and eight months ahead of the schedule.​ The official opening ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Aleksander Novak and the President of PJSC "LUKOIL" Vagit Alekperov.

28/06/2017 - LUKOIL CEO AND UZBEKISTAN PRESIDENT DISCUSS IMPLEMENTATION OF JOINT PROJECTS

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Merziyoyev received President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov​. They discussed implementation of LUKOIL’s current projects in Uzbekistan and prospects for broader cooperation. Special attention was paid to progress in the construction of a gas-processing works in Kandym and to the implementation of the project dubbed Full Development of Gissar.​

An Amendment to the Product Sharing Agreement (PSA) for Kandym group of fields, Khauzak, Shady and Kungrad areas has been signed in the city of Tashkent.
