LUKOIL SECURITIES LEAD ON THE LSE BY TRADING VOLUMES

LUKOIL securities trading volumes on the London Stock Exchange totaled $2.66 billion in April 2005 being the highest since the launch of the LUKOIL securities on the LSE in 2002.
LUKOIL securities remain the most liquid among Central and East European issues on the LSE. Total LSE trading volumes in issues from Central and East European countries was US$ 6.25 billion in April 2005, of which 42.6% were ADRs on the LUKOIL shares.
The number of the transactions with LUKOIL shares was 5482, also putting LUKOIL ahead under this index.
