LUKOIL RANKS SECOND AMONG RUSSIA'S LARGEST COMPANIES

LUKOIL ranked second among Russia's 20 largest companies in 2005. The Expert RA Rating Agency undertook the rating.
LUKOIL ranks second among Russia’s 20 largest companies in terms of product sales (third in 2004). The Company also occupies the second place in profitability. The Company is second (used to be third in 2004) among oil and gas companies.
In this regard, the Expert RA awarded LUKOIL National Economy Leader and Successful World Market Launch certificates for the Company’s outstanding achievements.
“Having become the first vertically integrated holding in the national oil industry, LUKOIL has been able to retain the status of Russia’s largest oil company and pave the way for the Russian business in the West”, comments to the Expert RA rating indicate.
