LUKOIL OPENED ITS FIRST FILLING STATION IN MACEDONIA

Today LUKOIL opened its first filling station in Skopje (The Republic of Macedonia).

Nikola Gruevski, Head of the Macedonian Government, Trifun Kostovski, Mayor of Skopje, Vladimir Solonitzky, the Russian Ambassedor to the Republic of Macedonia attended the opening ceremony

Within four years the Company intends to open 40 filling stations in Macedonia which will be supplied with petroleum derivatives produced at the LUKOIL refineries in Bulgaria and Rumania.

In August of 2006 LUKOIL acquired a petroleum storage depot with a 5,600 sq m tank farm located in Shtip (the Eastern part of the Republic).

LUKOIL and the Government of the Republic of Macedonia signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on petroleum product supply to the Republic in June of 2005.

LUKOIL conducts its business activity in the Republic of Macedonia via its subsidiary LUKOIL Macedonia.
