INTERNATIONAL PROFESSIONAL COMPETITION WAS HELD FOR OAO LUKOIL EMPLOYEES IN NIZHNY NOVGOROD

An international professional competition for OAO LUKOIL employees involved in petroleum products marketing was held on August 23-25 in Nizhny Novgodorod. The winners of the competition were honored with the Best in the Profession title.
Such competitions have become a tradition in the Company and are held annually several days before the Oil Industry Worker Day. This year it was the first time that the event gained international attention. Employees from LUKOIL-Nizhnevolzhsknefteprodukt, LUKOIL-Yugnefteprodukt, LUKOIL-Severnefteprodukt, LUKOIL-Permnefteprodukt, LUKOIL-Severo-Zapadnefteprodukt, LUKOIL-Uralnefteprodukt, LUKOIL-Volganefteprodukt, LUKOIL-Tsentrnefteprodukt, Lukoil-Azerbaijan, LUKOIL-Belarus, LUKOL-Bulgaria, LUKOIL-Georgia (Georgia), LUKOIL-Downstream (Romania), LUKOIL-Beopetrol (Serbia), LUKOIL-Moldova and LUKOIL-Ukraine became participants of the competition.
53 employees who were previously awarded prizes in similar competitions in their locations demonstrated their industry experience and expertise in five categories, including Best Filling Station Operator, Best Trading Operator, Best Operation and Maintenance Mechanic, Best Operation and Maintenance Electrician, Best Chemical Analysis Laboratory Technician. The winners were awarded honor certificates and prize money.
Such competitions are held to promote professional development, find out about advanced technologies and operating mehods and boost the professional image. They are part and parcel of OAO LUKOIL HR policy which aims to provide continuous professional training for the employees.
