Development of production in Russia


In 2020, at the fields of the Northern Caspian - Yury Korchagin and Vladimir Filanovsky - drilling of new production wells was carried out. The volume of oil produced from two fields exceeded 7 million tons per year. The active development of projects in the Caspian has resulted in the achievement of a level of 35 million tons of cumulative oil production since the start of commercial exploitation of the fields.

Continuing to develop the fields of the Northern Caspian, LUKOIL began construction of the third large-scale project - the V.I. Graifer field (former Rakushechnoye). The study of a new area in the south of waters within the Vostochno-Sulak swell - the Khazri and Titonskaya structures was started.

In the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, three oil fields of the Komandirshorskoye group were put into commercial operation and began production: Komandirshorskoye, Severno-Komandirshorskoye and West Komandirshorskoye.

The Khalmerpayutinskoye gas condensate field of the Bolshekhetskaya Depression was put into pilot commercial operation in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

Implementation of foreign projects


LUKOIL entered the RSSD project (Rufisque, Sangomar and Sangomar Deep) for hydrocarbon production in the Republic of Senegal with a 40% participation interest. Development of the Sangomar field has begun.

In Kazakhstan, LUKOIL's Lubricants Plant has begun supplying industrial and engine oils for cars and commercial vehicles to the PRC. The volume of the first delivery amounted to more than 200 tons. The favorable geographic location of th e LUKOIL Lubricants Central Asia plant made it possible to expand the distribution network in the international trade market.

Renewable energy projects development


In 2020, LUKOIL continued to develop its renewable energy projects.

One of the significant projects in the field of hydropower, the reconstruction of the Belorechenskaya HPP, has been completed: the service life has been extended by 40 years, reliability and environmental safety have been increased. After the reconstruction, the productive supply of environmentally friendly electricity increased by more than 80%, which will allow avoiding emissions of about 130 thousand tons of CO2 equivalent annually.

After the modernization, a small HPP with a capacity of 1.5 MW was put into operation on the Beshenka River in the Krasnodar Territory. The reconstruction of the hydrotechnical structures of the Krasnopolyanskaya HPP complex was completed.

The construction of the second stage of the Volgograd solar power plant (SPP) has begun, which will increase the total capacity of the SPP to 30 MW (three times).

The result of successful work to increase the share of renewable energy sources (RES) in the Company's energy balance was the victory in an open competitive selection of a project for the construction of a solar power plant (SPP) in the Krasnodar Territory.

Customer confidence in gas stations in Russia rating leadership


Based on the results of 2020, LUKOIL became the absolute leader in trust and popularity ratings among the largest sellers of fuel on the Russian market.

As shown by the research of the company "Romir", LUKOIL is the most famous company in the Russian station market: 90% of respondents are familiar with the brand, and the trust index was 84%.

Assistance during the coronavirus pandemic in the regions of presence


In 2020, since the beginning of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, PJSC LUKOIL has allocated over 1 billion rubles for social assistance and charity in 24 regions of Russia and 14 countries of presence.

The main volumes of support are aimed at implementing measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, re-equipping medical institutions, purchasing medical equipment, medicines and helping vulnerable categories of citizens.

About 450 thousand liters of fuel were allocated free of charge to help ambulance teams and volunteer organizations.

In addition, in Russia and abroad, LUKOIL supported the work of medical research institutions looking for a vaccine against COVID-19.
