
Kransnoyarsk Territory is one of the new regions on the map of PJSC LUKOIL’s operations. The Company came to the region in May 2015 after obtaining the license to develop the Vostochno-Taimyrsky license area and now plans to expand its presence in terms of production and social and economic projects.
In June 2015 during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, V.Yu. Alekperov, President of PJSC LUKOIL, and V.A. Tolokonsky, Governor of Kransnoyarsk Territory signed a Cooperation Agreement until 2020. Since PJSC LUKOIL had come to the region, the economy of Taimyr received a new impetus along with the improvement of infrastructure and transportation.

Vostochno-Taimyrsky License Area
The license to use the subsoil area was granted to the Company in December 2015 by the Federal Agency for Subsoil Use (Rosnedra) for 27 years. The area of the Vostochno-Taimyrsky license area is 13,800 sq. km. To organize effective management at all stages of development and further start of commercial operation, a project office for the Vostochnaya Sibir project with 25 people was set up.
Since December 2015 seismic crews of contractor organizations have been conducting field research. A road map has been developed. The task is to specify the geological model and resource potential of the Vostochno-Taimyrsky area and analyze the seismic data. In February 2016 the site for the first wildcat was selected, along with the drilling contractor, and an individual drilling plan was developed. The procedures for organizing meals and accommodation for the Company's employees have been defined, rooms for offices have been selected in the settlement of Khatanga. In spring 2016 the necessary cargo began to arrive to the port of Archangelsk. More than 20 thousand tons of cargo will be delivered to the peninsular by several ship via the Northern Sea Route.
The first wildcat is to be drilled in 2017.
PJSC LUKOIL obtained a license to use the Vostochno-Taimyrsky subsoil area located in the Taimysrky Dolgano-Nenetsky municipal district, Kransnoyarsk Territory, for 27 years. The area occupies 13,800 sq. km.
First exploration expeditions to Taimyr were organized, the road map of the field was developed, the site for drilling the first wildcat was selected.

In January 2016 an additional agreement was signed by PJSC LUKOIL and the Kransnoyarsk Territory Government defining the amount of funding for social projects in Krasnoyarsk Territory for the next year. LUKOIL will help the region build a gymnasium and a recreation center for the young residents of Khatanga as well as a boarding school for 250 students in the village of Nosok.
