Since 2011 LUKOIL has been running the "Warmth of Our Hands" annual social campaign in Kirov Region. As part of the event, there is a fair of products which have been

hand-made by our employees. The proceeds will be used to help the Kirov Regional State Budgetary Institution of Social Security "Kirov Nursing Home for the Elderly and the Disabled".

Since 2013 the Company has been an active supporter of the Kirov Regional division of the All-Russia Non-Governmental "Russian Children's Fund". The implemented projects included a city festival devoted to the Children's Day and construction of a children's motor-racing track.

In 2013 we opened LUKOIL's first children's mini filling station in the Kirov park. This amusement ride with small electric cars is an exact copy of a filling station. It was the Company's gift to the children of Kirov. The ride is equipped with traffic lights, road signs, and street crossings. The main goal of the project is to help children grow into careful and polite drivers who respect traffic rules.

Since 2013 as part of our cooperation with the DOSAAF (Voluntary Association for Assistance to Army, Air Force and Navy) driving schools of Kirov Region (3 schools) we have been disseminating information about LUKOIL filling stations' products and services among the students, including through motorists' guidebooks, educational movies/presentations for driving school lectures, making it possible for the schools to use LUKOIL filling stations to teach their students the rules of refilling.

Every year LUKOIL takes an active part in the implementation of the Program to develop mass uncompensated blood drives initiated by the Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development of the Russian Federation and Federal Medical and Biological Agency (FMBA). Employees take part in the blood drive that is viewed as one of the forms of corporate volunteering and commitment to social responsibility.

LUKOIL implements an environmental safety program to reduce the concentration of pollutants in the discharge water sent for disposal and rule out the discharge of untreated waste water into surface waters by equipping its filling stations with storm wastewater collection units.
