PJSC LUKOIL has been present in the Republic of Cyprus since 2002, when it purchased a gas station network in the country.
The Company’s share in the total retail sales of motor fuels on the domestic market is about 9 percent. Petroleum products are marketed though the in-house network of LUKOIL branded gas stations.
The first network of 16 gas stations was purchased in 2002 from Mobil Oil Cyprus Ltd., ESSO Cyprus Inc., and British Petroleum.
The second network of 13 gas stations was purchased in 2004-2005 from ExxonMobil Inc.
LUKOIL takes an active part in the social and cultural life of Cyprus by supporting various educational institutions for children, as well as programs aimed at the preservation of the Republic's cultural and historical heritage. The Company is always ready to provide support to important cultural events held in Cyprus, including Russian opera and theater performances, exhibitions and book launches. The Cyprus Russian Festival conducted under the auspices of the Republic of Cyprus's President and the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Cyprus. As part of the Festival, guests and participants have an opportunity to explore both countries' arts and crafts, as well as attend concerts that feature some of the most famous Russian, Greek and Cypriot artists and performers;
The Public Diplomacy Cup International Art Festival conducted under the aegis of the IPCES Agency for International Projects in Culture, Education and Sport and supported by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Fourth Department, Russian State Duma's International Affairs Committee, Russian Federation's Embassy in the Republic of Cyprus and the Republic of Cyprus Embassy in the Russian Federation. Among the festival's participants are mainly children's musical ensembles from Russia and Cyprus. The event's goal is to promote and strengthen friendship between children;
The Road Safety Caravan organized by the REACTION Cypriot youth NGO and supported by the European Union's Committee on Youth Affairs. As part of this project, REACTION volunteers teach school students basic rules of good conduct on the roads, provide free quick car-checkups and organize campaigns to measure CO2 emissions;
The Paphos Music Open Festival for young opera singers, which gathers talents from different European countries. The Festival's organizer and mastermind is composer Alexander Morozov, holder of the People's Artist of Russia, Ukraine and Moldova title.

The Cyprus Rally annual rallying championship held over several legs all across the country.
The 3X3 beach basketball championship that pits against each other 48 teams from Greece and the Republic of Cyprus.
LUKOIL retail gas stations are equipped with water purifying installations used to separate and treat oil residue;
The Company is currently replacing equipment in the Stage II vapor recovery system. In compliance with the European Union’s requirements, equipment at all gas stations in the Republic of Cyprus will be upgraded by 2018.
The Company takes responsibility to plant and take care of protective vegetation around its gas stations.
The Company is currently developing a project to illuminate its gas stations using electricity from solar panels.
