From the very beginning of its operations in the USA, the Company has taken an active part in the country's social life, by supporting various social initiatives in the regions of its presence. Its major initiatives include:
In 2015 — 2016, the Company allocated funds to support the Children's Museum of Houston, an established standard-bearer in the field of out-of-school education. The funds are funneled to the program which gives needy families an opportunity to attend the museums on a regular basis. Every Thursday, young Houstonians are invited to travel the universe of bright colors and adventures, where they can see a theatrical performance, listen to an entertaining story in the teens division of the library, and explore the museum as part of the Discovery Squad made up of volunteers from the Youth League.
In 2015, the Company sponsored the Energy Day Festival in Houston, one of the largest family events in the city that displays scientific, technological, engineering and mathematical projects in the open air environment.
In 2012 and 2014, the Company provided support to the Children's Festival of Russian Culture, an annual festival taking place in New York since 2007. The festival, organized by the Russian American Cultural Heritage Center (RACH-C), has become a platform where young residents of the multinational city of New York as well as other North American and Canadian states can learn about the Russian culture.
The Company provides financial aid for the reconstruction after the October 2013 fire of the St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Cathedral in New York, an important architectural landmark built in the early 20th century.
