LUKOIL in the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire

PJSC LUKOIL has been operating in the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire’s waters (the Gulf of Guinea in the Atlantic Ocean) since 2006. In this region, the Company is involved in deep water geological exploration.

At the end of 2011, LUKOIL supplied medical equipment and medications jointly with Russia's EMERCOM to Côte d'Ivoire's health care institutions.

In July 2013, LUKOIL took part and co-invested in a major social project in the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire — the construction of a Mother-Child hospital. The foundation stone placement ceremony for the hospital was attended by the country's president Alassane Ouattara. The driving force behind the project was the Children of Africa Foundation chaired by Côte d'Ivoire's first lady Dominique Oattarra.
