V. Vinogradov field is located in Beloyarksy district of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrus in Tuymen Oblast, within the boundaries of two license blocks, Bolshoy and Olkhovsky.
High profitability of oil production at the field is explained by the existing beneficial taxation of crudes recovered from low permeability reservoirs. In 2015 the recovery of oil and condensate almost tripled, reaching 1,701 ths. barrels (232 ths. tn).
Discovery of Bolshoye Olkhovskoye field.
The field got its name as a tribute to Vladimir Nikolaevich Vinogradov, one of the most distinguished oil industry experts, rector of the I.M. Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas between 1962 and 1993.
Intense drilling out operations: 51 wells were drilled. 32 producers were commissioned, of which 17 are horizontal and 15 are directional wells. Construction of a 45 km long oil pipeline to the Bobrovka transfer pumping station was completed, thus making it possible to minimize the cost of oil transportation that was previously transported in tank trucks, and enhance the level of environmental protection.
38 horizontal and 53 directional wells were commissioned. Pilot operations were completed in 2 wells reaching 1,600 m in length alongside with hydraulic fracturing in 16 zones. A 7.5 MW gas-fuelled reciprocating power plant was brought into operation, construction of the first stage facilities of the OTU project and an 18 MW gas turbine power plant continued.
