{ 9/24/2020 12:00:00 AM }

Yury Borisov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, paid visit to LUKOIL's central Moscow office and met with Vagit Alekperov, President of LUKOIL.

They discussed, inter alia, the matters of maintaining the long-term potential of the oil industry in the face of the changing tax regulation and emerging global environmental requirements. Vagit Alekperov also spoke about the implementation of LUKOIL's social projects and his expectations regarding the recovery of the world oil industry in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the visit, Yuri Borisov took a look at the examples of LUKOIL's cutting-edge digital systems, such as the Central Dispatch Office and the Polazna Central Engineering and Technology Service in the Perm region.

This project encompasses all LUKOIL fields in the region. Integrated modelling and planning make it possible to choose optimal processing behavior and workover actions, cutting down idle-time and non-manufacturing costs. 70% of the technologies employed by the project have been developed in Russia.
