Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Yury Borisov, Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin and President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov took part in the foundation stone laying ceremony for the Polypropylene Production Complex at LUKOIL's Nizhny Novgorod refinery in the city of Kstovo. ​​

A three-party Agreement on Cooperation in Tourism was signed by Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin, Governor of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District – Yugra Natalya Komarova and President of PJSC LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov.  ​

The Board of Directors of PJSC LUKOIL held its meeting in Moscow today where the quantitative and personal composition of the Management Committee was approved.

PJSC LUKOIL released its Sustainability Report for 2020 prepared in line with the international and industry standards, such as GRI, SASB, UNCTAD and IPIECA. For each area of ESG activities the report includes information about the Company's contribution into the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

​​LUKOIL is to acquire the 50% operator interest in the Area 4 project in Mexico, consisted of two oil fields, Ichalkil and Pokoch, which are located in the Gulf of Mex​ico. The construction of production facilities is currently being finalized, and production of first oil is scheduled for the third quarter of 2021. The partner in the Project is PetroBal.

​A joint team of experts from LUKOIL-Technologies and LUKOIL-Permnefteorgsintez won the first prize in the National Competition for the Best Qualification Assessment Tools in the personnel competency assessment category. The conte​st was organized by the National Qualification Development Agency with support of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation.
