Support for Medical Institutions

OAO LUKOIL supports a number of major specialized medical research centers, such as Academician V.I. Kulakov Scientific Centre of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology, RAMS Haematological Scientific Centre, Russian Cardiologic Scientific and Production Complex, and A.V. Vishnevsky Surgical Institute.


The Company promotes development of healthcare services in the regions of its presence. Thus, from 2008 to 2011 the Company purchased expensive equipment for the Liman Central District Hospital (Astrakhan Oblast), Astrakhan Children’s Municipal Clinical Hospital No.1, Bolshoye Murashkino Central District Hospital (Nizhny Novgorod Oblast), Moscow Birth Center No. 4, Kstovo Central District Hospital, Perm Municipal Children’s Clinical Health Center No. 1, and “Heart Institute” Perm Krai Clinical Hospital No. 2. 


In 2011 fifteen ambulances fitted with medical equipment were purchased for municipal district hospitals of Perm Krai.
