PRESS SERVICE STATEMENT  


The OAO LUKOIL Press Service announces that the judgment by the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) handed down on September 24, 2009 in relation to OOO LUKOIL-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez and a regulation imposing a penalty in the amount of RUR 2,409,298,055.78 were officially ruled illegal and invalidated today by the Arbitration Court of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

 

According to the judgment by the Russian Federation FAS of September 24, 2009 the actions by OAO LUKOIL, OOO LUKOIL-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez, OOO LUKOIL-Permnefteorgsintez and OOO LUKOIL-Ukhtaneftepererabotka were found violating antitrust legislation.
