Re Loan
LUKOIL EURASIA PETROL ANONIM SIRKETI (a subsidiary of OAO LUKOIL) raised a USD 250 million loan facility (the ‘Facility’) on October 31, 2008. The interest rate on the disbursement date (including base rate and margin) was 6.5% p.a.
The Facility term is 3 years.
The Facility is secured by OAO LUKOIL’s guarantee for LUKOIL EURASIA PETROL ANONIM SIRKETI.
The Facility has been arranged by ABN AMRO BANK N.V., THE BANK OF TOKYO-MITSUBISHI UFJ, LTD., BARCLAYS CAPITAL, DRESDNER KLEINWORT, ING BANK N.V., LONDON BRANCH and WESTLB AG, LONDON BRANCH.
The agent is WESTLB AG, LONDON BRANCH.
The proceeds under the Facility will be used to finance an acquisition of a 100% interest in a Turkish company Akpet.
