International Expansion


A contract was signed with the Colombian National Oil and Gas Company Ecopetrol for joint oil exploration and production at Kondor prospective block (llanos block, Colombia). The Company is acquiring an interest in WEEM concession in Egypt which makes LUKOIL sole contractor and investor under the concession agreement for oil exploration and production, as well as project operator.

Construction of Vysotsk Terminal Commenced

The company commences construction of a petroleum product transshipment terminal on Vysotskiy island (Leningrad Oblast). The terminal’s rated capacity is 10.7 million tons of oil per year.

Russian President Vladimir Putin Visited Floating Drilling Rig Astra


Russian President Vladimir Putin visited floating drilling rig Astra that helps LUKOIL conduct exploration drilling in the northern part of the Caspian Sea. Seven oil and gas bearing structures were discovered in the course of large-scale geological and environmental surveys at Severnyi area. Wildcats were drilled into three of them (six wells). The Company utilizes cutting-edge safe technologies based on a “zero-discharge” principle, as well as special-purpose vessels designed for shallow water operations.

Full Secondary Listing at the London Stock Exchange


LUKOIL becomes the first Russian company to obtain full secondary listing of its ordinary shares and American Depository Receipts at the London Stock Exchange. State-owned shares in PJSC LUKOIL are also listed here (5.9%).
