LUKOIL is certified for compliance with international HSE standards


LUKOIL’s certification for compliance with international standards ISO 14001 (environmental protection) and OHSAS 18001 (health and safety), and implementation of quality, health, safety and environmental management systems for its projects and products enables the Company to improve its market standing, develop greater trust with its partners and investors, and reduce its direct and indirect costs.

Production Assets in Bolshekhetskaya Depression and Timan-Pechora Acquired


The Company acquires Yamalgazneftedobycha OJSC, a holder of subsoil use licenses within Bolshekhetskaya Depression (Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug). A number of acquisitions of oil production assets in the Komi Republic are underway that will help to strengthen LUKOIL’s positions in Timan-Pechora oil and gas bearing province. The Company also acquires controlling interests in Arkhangelskgeologodobycha OJSC and a number of smaller companies (Kharyaganeft LLC, Bitran OJSC, Baytek-Silur CJSC, AmKomi LLC) who hold licenses for the development of Timan-Pechora fields.

Nizhny Novgorod Refinery Acquired


The Company acquires the controlling interest in NORSI-Oil OJSC that includes one of the Russia’s largest oil refineries Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez with a capacity of 15 million tons of oil per year.
