LUKOIL initiated a panel discussion titled «Global non-financial reporting trends in energy sector, assessment criteria and investor relations». Experts in corporate social responsibility, representatives of fuel and energy companies, EU authorities thoroughly studied LUKOIL's experience in making the Sustainability Report.
In the first four months of 2018, LUKOIL produced 109 thousand tonnes of motor gasolines in excess of the plan established by a quadripartite agreement between Russia's oil majors, the Federal Antimonopoly Service, the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology and the Federal Agency for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision.
A new Development Plan of West Qurna-2 field that provides for an oil production plateau of 800 thousand barrels per day was signed by LUKOIL and the Basra Oil Company. The experience acquired by the Company in the region, the existing infrastructure and cost compensation within the project development from the current production will ensure maximum efficiency of the project implementation.

Today LUKOIL has commissioned a Gas Processing Complex at the Kandym fields cluster in Uzbekistan. The construction of the Kandym Gas Processing Complex was completed exactly two years since its start and eight months ahead of the schedule. The official opening ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Aleksander Novak and the President of PJSC "LUKOIL" Vagit Alekperov.
