LUKOIL AND YUGRA GOVERNMENT TO CONTINUE COOPERATION

President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and Governor of Yugra Natalia Komarova signed a Supplement Agreement on Cooperation for 2017, in Khanty-Mansiysk today. The funds, allocated by the company under the agreement, will be spent on regional development programs, construction and reconstruction of social infrastructure in towns and settlements of Yugra.

For instance, the funds will be used to continue the construction of a theater to house the Kogalym branch of the State Academic Maly Theater, implement a major educational project as part of the International Baccalaureate Program "Success Formula", reconstruction of the Siberia Culture Center and to commence design and engineering works for the construction of a kindergarten for 320 children. It is also planned to build an indoor skating rink, renovate a school and a municipal medical center in Uray, a municipal garden in Pokachi, an embankment in Beloyarsky District, Victory Day park in the urban settlement of Mezhdurechensky in Konda District and the kindergarten "Sunny" in the urban settlement of Mortka.

LUKOIL will also provide financial support to construct soccer pitches with artificial turf at the Okunyovo Dawns sports camp in the settlement of Alyabyevsky, Soviet District, renovate a secondary school building in Priobye, build gas boiler houses in the towns of Varyegan and Agan, Nizhnevartovsk District, and a water intake facility with water treatment plants in the town of Gornopravdinsk of the Khanty-Mansi District.

The company will render financial assistance to some NGOs, including the regional office of the Russian Geographical Society and Save Yugra Society, the L.F. Stashkevich Natural Park "Konda Lakes" and the Yugra Hockey Club. LUKOIL will also help organize local campaigns on promotion of physical training and sports, athletic events for youth and children, patriotic and sports development of younger generations, as well as assist with implementation of major cultural projects.
