LUKOIL AWARDS WINNERS OF CHARITABLE GRANT IN SPORTS

LUKOIL's Moscow headquarters welcomed young athletes today at an awarding ceremony of We are Calling the Shots in Sport, a contest for the first all-Russia charitable grant, announced by the company to support future Olympic champions.
Nine hundred children representing 53 regions of Russia, from Kaliningrad to Primorsky Territory, had applied for the contest. The ten winners were awarded by Evgeny Khavkin, LUKOIL Vice President and Chief of Staff, and members of the jury panel: Svetlana Zhurova, Alexander Legkov, Adelina Sotnikova, Natalya Ishchenko, Yelena Välbe, Alia Mustafina, Alexander Popov and Irina Belova, all Olympic champions.
The award winners do artistic and rhythmic gymnastics, swimming, cross-country skiing, table tennis, taekwondo and freestyle.
