LUKOIL AND KOMI DEVELOP COOPERATION

President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and the Head of the Republic of Komi, Sergey Gaplikov, signed yet another protocol to the Agreement on Cooperation between the company and the region, in Usinsk today.
According to the document which defines areas of social and economic development for 2018, LUKOIL will provide financial support for the construction of residential houses in the towns of Yarega and Usinsk, of a sports-and-health center in Yarega, of a multipurpose sports hall in Usinsk, and the reconstruction of a Russian Orthodox Church in the village of Izhma. Also, several modular-type healthcare and culture facilities will be built in the regions where the company operates.
Vagit Alekperov and Sergey Gaplikov presented awards to the best teams of the Usinsk Football League, established with support from LUKOIL, and also the Best Completed Project awards to the winners of LUKOIL's contest of social and cultural projects in the Republic of Komi and the Nenets Autonomous District.
The LUKOIL President and the region's head also met with employees of LUKOIL Group's companies operating in the region.
