LUKOIL AND NIZHNY NOVGOROD REGION: COOPERATION CONTINUES

President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and the Head of Nizhny Novgorod Region, Gleb Nikitin, signed an agreement on social and economic cooperation until 2022, in Nizhny Novgorod today.

The document provides for the parties' engagement in the processing of raw hydrocarbons, the transportation and marketing of refined petroleum and petrochemical products, in the manufacture and supply of oilfield equipment and products of the engineering, shipbuilding and chemical industries, as well as scientific and technical support of new engineering developments and technologies.

Special emphasis will be placed on projects of environmental safety and protection in the region.

The company and the regional government will take joint actions to implement social projects and to create favorable conditions conducive to better living standards.

President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and Governor of Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin signed a supplementary cooperation agreement. The signing ceremony took place today in Nizhny Novgorod.
