LUKOIL RANKED AMONG LEADERS OF THE RUSSIAN COMPANIES IN THE HUMAN RIGHTS OBSERVANCE RATING

LUKOIL was ranked among the leaders of the Corporate Human Rights Benchmark, the first international corporate responsibility rating, initiated by eight international institutional investors and banks. LUKOIL was rated second among Russian companies and topped the list of energy producers.
The rating is based on the analysis of disclosed corporate information in terms of its compliance with UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. Integration of human rights issues in corporate governance patterns, availability of tools for legal protection, response to alleged violations of human rights and transparency of information are the key criteria of evaluation behind the rating.
